Jewellery Care

Jewellery Care Instructions

In general, jewellery tends to fare well in water and doesn’t change color. However, it’s not the water itself that causes damage; rather, it’s exposure to chemicals that can harm jewelry.

  • Stainless Steel: Tarnish-free in water.
  • Sterling Silver with Gold or Rhodium Plating: Safe for water wear, but avoid strong chemicals like chlorine and perfume.
  • Brass with Gold or Rhodium Plating: High-quality electroplating provides tarnish resistance, but it’s best to avoid water and chemicals.

Tips for Maintaining Your Jewellery:

  • Remove your jewelry before swimming.
  • Minimize exposure to chemicals to keep it looking its best.

Cleaning:

  • Lightly wipe your jewellery with a jewellery cloth to remove any unwanted chemicals from the surface
  • Jewellery cloths can be used to polish and bring back the shine of your pieces

Adjusting Hoop Earrings Clasp

All hoops have been tested to ensure the post stays in the correct position. However, the hoop earring post can become loose or tight with frequent opening, closing, or prolonged wear. Fortunately, it’s easy to adjust:

  • To loosen: Gently press the hoop post down.
  • To tighten: Gently press the hoop post up.

Silver Earrings

Silver is naturally soft and bendable, so it’s normal for earring posts to become bent. This is not a fault. You can easily straighten the posts with your fingers.
