Eloise Pear Solitaire Ring - Stainless Steel Gold

A solitaire that sits flat.

The band curves out and folds around a pear-cut stone, holding it inside the line of the ring rather than lifting it onto a setting. Nothing sits proud of the metal, so it does not catch on a jumper or knock against a keyboard — the reason most people end up taking a raised solitaire off.

It measures 1.3mm at the back and widens to 5.5mm where the stone sits. That taper is what gives it shape: it reads as one continuous curve rather than a plain band with something attached to the top.

The gold is a PVD coating, not a plating — the colour is bonded to the stainless steel under vacuum rather than sitting on top of it, so it does not wear thin at the edges or fade with time. It will not tarnish and will not turn your finger green.
